The Targus wireless laser presenter is a great little tool if you need basic slideshow operation on either a PC or Mac. It features plug-and-play operation, and it will work with PC PowerPoint, Mac PowerPoint and Mac Keynote. The laser shines in both red and green, and there are other decent features like blank screen and button lock. The two things that prevented me from giving it a 5-star rating were (1) this clicker wasn't compatible with Mac iPhoto, so I couldn't run a slideshow of photos from that - I had to convert them to a PPT - and (2) the blank screen function didn't work with Mac PowerPoint. Other than that, I think this was a handy $25ish investment for our needs.

I am a university professor and lecture to classes ranging from 20 to 250. I bought this remote after my old Satechi died after 6 years or so and I needed a replacement for the next day. This was on special for $27, and, while skeptical, I bought it assuming I'd be using it for the long term. I will be returning it.
3 problems::
1. Very low build quality. This is cheap and flimsy plastic.
2. Performance: For the day I used this in 3 different classes, I was constantly finding that a simple click either didn't register or took me forward several slides if I "overcorrected." I've never had this problem before with either the Kensington I sometimes use or the Satechi.
3. The design is poor. 2 things. 1. The receiving dongle fits inside the battery compartment - this is sold as a feature but it's really a flaw as you're constantly having to open and close the thing and the plastic cover feels like it's going to break. 2. While it's small and fits in the hand, the shape isn't as intuitively tailored to the hand as the Satechi and it isn't as well weighted as the Kensington.
If you need a remote for occasional use, this may suit you fine. If you need one for very regular use, you can and should do better.

The Targus AMP13CA Wireless Laser Presenter, Black provided the functionality that I needed, but some users complained that the buttons were too close together to make it intuitive.

This is a life saver! I am a teacher and this allows me to move around my room when presenting a project instead of having to use my spacebar. I am recommending this to all the teachers in my building! I LOVE IT!!!!! I also love that all you do is plug in the USB. That is it!
